A Fabulous Start to My 21 Day Fitness Challenge!

I LOVE Monday mornings!!!

After a rejuvenating weekend I am ready to jump into the new week and create all sorts of beautiful things…

This morning was particularly sweet.

I woke up just past 4:30, excited…

Today is Day 1 of my Pre-Thanksgiving Scrumptious Body 21 Day Challenge — 21 days of fun, fitness and fabulous food so we can all greet the holidays with a smile 🙂

Two of my clients are working moms who find it hard to escape during the day so we scheduled our workout sessions for 5:30 am.  Woohoo!

I LOVE early morning workouts!

I know, if you are not a morning person it sounds completely crazy but I find it’s the best way to start the day!

A good morning workout leaves me feeling energized and focused and the rest of my day tends to be much more fun and productive.

I also know how challenging it is for us moms to make time for ourselves and once the kids are up, no matter how committed we are to loving on ourselves, carving out even 20 minutes for a workout is a massive challenge.  Once the day gets going it never stops… And by the time the house is quiet again you’re too exhausted to even think about a workout…

As it turns out the park was just too dark at 5:30 so we moved our workout to the gym… But not before catching a breathtaking sunrise!

Our first workout was a blast!

One of the reasons I choose to hold small group sessions for my challenges is because women thrive in this environment.  It provides safety, support and accountability.  And yes, a little competition 🙂

Let me tell you, these ladies are COMMITTED!!!

Oh sure there was a little bit of moaning as we pushed through one more set of kick ups but there was plenty of giggling too.

And if this is what day 1 was all about, I cannot wait for the next 20 days!!1

How are you getting ready for the holiday season?

If you’re curious about my 21 Day Challenge you can fill out my survey and I’ll get in touch to tell you more about it.

In the meantime, stay scrumptious!!!
