The FASTer Way to Fat Loss, Much More than the Best Weight Loss Program for Women

“The FASTer Way To Fat Loss is, hands down, the best weight loss program for women. PERIOD!”

That is a pretty bold statement.

One that I decided to put to the test this past July.

Why would I, a super fit personal trainer and aerial fitness instructor not exactly looking to loose weight decide to join this program?

Five reasons:

  • Endless flow of amazing testimonials
  • Personal curiosity
  • Always looking for the best tools for my clients
  • Scientifically based on cutting edge research
  • Created by a woman with more than a decade of experience and thousands of lives changed for the better.

To be honest when I started with my first round of the FASTer Way To Fat Loss I was a little skeptical.  Though I had seen an endless flow of glowing testimonials flood my Facebook page I have always believed that there is  no such thing as THE best weight loss program for everyone.

In fact, that’s the main reason I became a personal trainer — I absolutely cherish being able to craft a unique program for each one of my clients to support her in achieving specific goals in the most efficient manner possible.

What is the FASTer Way To Fat Loss?

The FASTer Way To Fat Loss is a comprehensive 6 week online based fitness program designed by Amanda Tress to conveniently fit into the busiest of schedules.

It is a program that centers around the following:

  • Meal planning that makes sense based on Intermittent Fasting and Carb Cycling
  • Carefully Crafted Weekly Workout Plans
  • Community of Like Minded Women
  • Accountability
  • Positive Mindset

Two weeks into the program I knew why it was so powerful!

I immediately leaned out and felt stronger, healthier and more energetic that I ever had before!

I’m not one to post photos of myself in a sports bra but I was so excited to finally see my abs that I posted the photo below on my Instagram and Facebook pages 🙂

Iron Cross on Silks FWTFL

I LOVE the FASTer Way to Fat Loss so much that I have decided to become a certified coach before the new year 🙂

Why I LOVE the FASTer Way To Fat Loss

Truth be told I love EVERYTHING about the FASTer Way To Fat Loss.

Here are just a few highlights:

The FASTer Way to Fat Loss is Easy to Implement

As soon as you register for the program you receive a comprehensive guide with everything you need to know to succeed.  In addition on the first day of Prep Week, Amanda will host a live conference and Q&A to answer any remaining questions you might have.  Amanda and a couple of coaches also check in daily through your Facebook group so you are never flying solo.

Progress not PERFECTION!

That is Amanda’s mantra. She is a mom and busy entrepreneur and understands that life sometimes gets in the way of the best laid out plans.  What she asks is that you do your best every day, whatever that means for you. That’s it.

A Sensible Eating Plan NOT a Diet

This is probably the part of the program that I love the most. Interestingly enough it is also the reason I hesitated the most before signing up. I did not know much about intermittent fasting and it sounded a little extreme and hard to implement. I also questioned how sustainable of an eating style it would be long term and whether it was truly healthy. I quickly discovered that it is the eating style that makes the most sense for me.  It was easy to adjust to it and I can’t imagine ever going back to my old habits.  Crazy no?

You feel EMPOWERED not Deprived!

Let me reassure you: You will NOT feel deprived on the FASTer Way To Fat Loss.  On the contrary. You will feel amazingly EMPOWERED!

You will NOT starve but gain incredible understanding about your body’s needs, and control over your food choices. And yes you will EAT…  a lot!

One of the biggest surprises when I started the program was that I was routinely underfeeding myself! Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed that.  I eat a lot.  Most days I start with a 3 egg omelet with a ton of veggies. Lunch is usually a giant salad, and dinner some protein dish with fresh veggies. So when I learned that I was about 300 to 400 calories shy of my daily calories goal I was shocked! Ultimately this was the biggest obstacle to my fat loss and I am happy to say it no longer is 🙂

This is a topic I am fascinated with and will explore in more depth in an upcoming article so stay tuned.

Fun, powerful workouts you CAN do!

The workouts are Ah-Ma-Zing!  Yes I am a fitness professional and started FWTFL super fit but I assure you, you will love the workouts regardless of your current fitness level.  The workouts are presented with different options to meet the needs of every single participant, from beginner to competitive athlete.

The workouts are varied and include everything from HIIT to strength training, Tabatas and Sprints! I had never trained sprint intervals before and I am hooked!!!

Some workouts will challenge you more than others but you will be able to complete them all.  You may need to make adjustments but you have access to an incredible community to support each step of the way.

A LOVING and Supportive Community

When you join the FASTer Way to Fat Loss you are placed into a Facebook group with about 20 other participants. Some will be new to the programs, others will be on their second or third round. Everyone is on a journey towards better health and everyone is there to support you. What I found is that the women who choose to invest in their well being are truly remarkable women.  They are committed to themselves, their families and communities and they become a very special kind of family.

What Others are Saying about The FASTer Way To Fat Loss

Brianna’s Story

“Like many young women in my generation, I’ve been struggling with my weight and negative self-perception since middle school, and I’ve been going on diets for almost as long. I’ve done nearly all of them at this point. There hasn’t been a time in my adult life where I wasn’t constantly worried about what I was eating and how it would affect how I looked.

At the beginning of the summer before my junior year of college, I found that eating a low carb, low sugar diet worked well to get the weight off. I wasn’t someone who’d ever learned how to incorporate working out into a busy life, and giving up sugar and carbs seemed the best possible solution. I saw the weight drop off simply by changing what I ate, and the extreme control over what I put in my body made me feel more powerful, something I confused with feeling more healthy for a long time.

However, I quickly discovered that the diet I was on was incredibly restrictive for a young person, and in the end, my low carb, low sugar diet turned into a cycle I couldn’t break. I’d be eating well for a few weeks, would see the pounds start to drop, then would “go off” for any number of reasons: to have a night out with friends, to go on vacation, to just deal with a stressful week where I didn’t have time to cook. Going off the diet always left me feeling guilty for eating something that wasn’t allowed, which led to extreme disappointment in myself and blame for the way I looked, which often led to other kinds of unhealthy eating. A few weeks later, I’d start the diet again with renewed vigor, determined to make it stick this time. And so the cycle would continue.

In the five years I was on this diet, my weight fluctuated wildly. I was both at my thinnest and my heaviest, and there were rarely moments when I felt comfortable in my own skin. So much of my life seemed defined by food, and I was honestly scared of eating anything that I saw as having the potential to make me fat. Logically, I knew it wasn’t healthy, but I still managed to condition myself to fear certain kinds of food, and to emotionally punish myself whenever I fell off the wagon.

When I heard about the FASTer Way to Fat Loss, I knew I needed a change. I loved the idea of having a community of women beside me and I was excited to have a trainer to start teaching me ways to work out effectively at home. But the program still terrified me. Amanda was telling me she expected me to eat carbs. Lots of carbs. The MyFitness Pal app recommended a daily intake of 165 grams of carbs for my regular calorie days, which was almost a 700% increase over the amount of carbs I was eating on my low sugar diet. This fact alone led to significant anxiety in the week leading up to the start of the program. I spent hours obsessively planning out menus, counting calories, and feeling utterly terrified about the fact that I was going to willingly be eating all of things I had trained myself for five years not to eat.

But I was committed to trying, and I was inspired by all the women in my group who were doing this with me – strong, powerful women who weren’t afraid to try and who empowered each other constantly. And so, that first week, I bought a sweet potato for the first time in five years. I bought honey and fruit and quinoa. I had to literally force myself to eat these things, to tell myself it would be ok, but I did it. And every time I did, whenever I posted about my win for the day, Amanda and the women in my group told me I was dong an amazing job, and slowly, I started to believe it.

Now, six weeks later, I have never felt better about myself. Yes, Amanda taught me how to love working out, which is impressive in and of itself, but the biggest, most amazing thing this program has given me is the freedom to love myself regardless of what I eat. I’m no longer scared of food, or defined by it. It’s the most invigorating feeling, and I feel more healthy and in control than I ever have in my life. The other day, I even caught myself standing in front of the mirror just a moment longer, for the first time really loving how I look, which is such a powerful and moving thing for me.”

  4. Donna K Peterson says:

This sounds like an amazing fat loss plan. Thank you for sharing.

  5. I will have to try this diet. Sounds as if it will work for me.

  6. Katelyn Deveraux says:

The only thing I get weary about with things like this is how well is it sustained in the long run. If this is a lifestyle modification I believe that is great but if you aren’t teaching people how to make this last the rest of their lives it will really be a disservice. Weight fluctuation is really hard on the body so it is much better to make lifestyle changes over time so you don’t feel as though you are going on a diet but rather just making healthy choices..

    • That ultimately is the beauty and really the main goal of this program Katelyn. It IS about making a lifestyle adjustment. Sustainable adjustment. At least it is for me and many of the women who started with me in July and are currently in the VIP group with me. Yes weight loss and gain is hard on the body as well as on moral. The biggest change for me was with the intermittent fasting. I had huge doubts about it’s sustainability and concerns about negative impact on my health in the long run. I’ve come to realize that it is a way of eating that my body thrives on!

  7. Judy Thomas says:

I diet on and off and never really get into it properly but this looks like something I could do, thanks 🙂

  8. Interesting although I haven’t had a weight problem yet. I will pass this on to a friend that struggles.

    • Your friend will love you for it Barbara. I wasn’t looking to loose weight either but that’s the beauty of the program. It’s much ore than a weight loss program. For me it has helped me truly lean out and gain tremendous energy.

  9. This looks like an interesting diet I will look into it thank you for sharing,

  10. Amber Ludwig says:

Sounds like a very interesting program! I like the variety!! So helpful instead of just being stuck in the same food rut over and over!!

  11. hmmm definitely something i’m thinking of registering with. thanks for sharing!

  12. Linda Manns Linneman says:

I really need to lose about twenty pounds. This sounds great. I think I would like this. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless

  13. This looks like a super program for weight loss and for self esteem too.

    • It is an AMAZING program April, and will definitely boost self esteem. Weight loss is not the primary focus but if you follow the program you will most likely loose weight as you change your body composition and gain lean muscle mass. You’ll get stronger and overall healthier which is the best part of the program 🙂

  14. Lynn Desroche says:

This sounds like an interesting program to try. I will keep it in mind.

  15. I have been looking into intermittent fasting for its benefits, but I haven´t made the decision yet. This program seems like a good fit.

    • Intermittent fasting has changed my life for the better Belu. I researched it for quite a while before starting the FASTer Way as I had a lot of apprehension. The science behind it is solid and having now experienced it first hand I can confidently say it is a powerful tool1

  16. Debra Eisbrenner says:

Wonderful I definately need to get healthy!

  17. denise low says:

Thank you for sharing. I need to check this program out. One holidays we really eat to much.

  18. Ronald Gagnon says:

Even though I am a man…I AM going to follow this thank you

  19. Richard Hicks says:

Will be keeping this in mind. No diet seems to work for me. LOL!

    • The beauty of this program Richard is that it is not a diet. Rather it is a new approach to how you eat and exercise that gices complete control and incredible freedom. Give it a try you won’t regret it!
