Scrumptious Aloe Herb Cleanser by Annmarie Gianni

Annmarie Gianni sent me the Aloe Herb cleanser for review but the opinion in this post are all mine.

As I approached the check out counter the woman behind the register blurted out with a smile “You have such beautiful skin I could not help but stare!  I’m sorry!”

Relieved I smiled, thanked her then proceeded with my checkout. (She’d been looking at me so intently I thought I had something awful on my face!)

Truth me told I get complimented on my skin all the time and the ensuing question tends to be “What do you use?”

Well for the most part not much actually. I have been blessed with my mom’s beautiful genes (Thank you God!) and great complexion. I also feel that most skin care products are so filled with chemicals and toxic substances they actually do more harm than good, so I avoid them.

And more than anything I believe that a healthy lifestyle is key to healthy skin.  I do my best to eat a clean diet rich in dark leafy greens and other antioxidant rich foods,  stay well hydrated, move my body and get my daily dose of fresh air and a little sunshine for vitamin D and a healthy glow.

Having said that, with the increasing amount of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis I have been feeling the need to “clean off the junk” more than ever.  My challenge has been finding products of the purest quality. I insist on truly natural chemical free ingredients.   In a nut shell I don’t put anything on my skin that I would not be willing to eat.  And the entire experience has to be a joy!

That’s why I was so excited to discover Annmarie Gianni’s line of skincare products and to have the opportunity to sample and review her Aloe Herb Cleanser.

AloeCleanserProduct

The entire line of Annmarie Gianni skincare products  is made from organic, all natural  – and I mean truly natural as in found in nature kind of natural,  and wild crafted ingredients all carefully selected by Annmarie herself to create one of the purest lines of skincare products made anywhere in the world.

When she decided to create her own line of skincare Annmarie was shocked to learn that she could use chemical additives and preservatives without having to list them on her label! You can rest assured none of her products contain hidden ingredients.

As you can see from the list below, the ingredients in her Aloe Herb cleanser were carefully selected to create a pH balanced cleanser, which is essential in providing deep but gentle cleansing without drying out your skin.

Aloe Herb Cleanser Ingredients: Organic aloe vera juice infused with organic herbs (lavender flowers, calendula flowers, life everlasting flowers, hyssop, lemon balm, neem leaf, olive leaf, plantago leaf ); organic coconut oil; cocoglucoside (coconut oil & glycerine); organic vegetable glycerine; aspen bark extract; organic ruby grapefruit oil; organic lemon oil; organic green mandarin oil; xanthan gum; organic rosemary oleoresin

Don’t all of these sound fabulous?  If you’re wondering about the xantham gum it is a plant based thickening and stabilizing agent.  It is used most frequently in gluten free preparations to bind the ingredients together. In the case of this cleanser it gives it a creamy consistency.

A little bit goes a long way!

AloeCleanserDrop

All you need is a pea size drop of this creamy cleanser.

Don’t expect any foam or lather or you might be disappointed. A  properly pH balanced cleanser should not suds up.  But have no doubt about it’s efficacy!  As you massage it into moist skin you’ll feel the crud lift away.  And the best part… It smells divine! The lemon balm is the scent that stands out for me and it is both invigorating and soothing at the same time.

Your skin will feel soft and supple after you use this cleanser.  I did not feel any of that uncomfortable tightening or pulling that and I have experienced with other cleanser, even “organic” ones.  And I did not feel the need to apply any moisturizer afterwards.  My go-to moisturizer these days, when I use it, is plain organic coconut oil but if you want to indulge in a little extra pampering Annemarie’s facial oils are truly divine.  She offers four options so you can choose the one that’s right for you.   I look forward to reviewing her anti-aging oil for you in the very near future!

I now have a new little ritual that’s all about feeling and looking beautiful and for that I am truly grateful!

All in all I give Annmarie Gianni’s Aloe Herb Cleanser  a raving 5 star review, and if  you are ready for a deep cleanser that will truly nourish your skin then I highly recommend you give it a try.

You can purchase this Aloe Herb Cleanser and all the other fabulous skincare products from the Annmarie Gianni line directly from her website at www.annmariegianni.com

Here’s to beautiful truly scrumptious skin!

  1. Wow this sounds like a great product line. Shocking for me, too, to learn that about the labeling. What happened to integrity? Can’t believe things can be left off of labels and that is standard practice! To think you are paying a higher price for a product you think is organic but are actually being deceived by some is maddening.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this product, Valerie. I’d love to give it a try myself!

    • Shocking the things we don’t know isn’t it? But sadly I’m not surprised knowing how the FDA allows non-organic ingredients to be included in products that received a USDA certified organic label, provided they are below a certain percentage, and that “Natural Ingredients” really means “secret ingredients that I don’t want my competitors to know about” many of which are chemicals and toxic… That’s exactly why I have been so excited to discover Annmarie’s product line. I appreciate her integrity and commitment to truly wholesome and nourishing ingredients. 🙂 I hope you enjoy her products as much as I do. Stay Scrumptious!

  2. I really love Aloe on my skin. I;ll have to look into this product. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I saw that product just yesterday while I was at the grocery store.
I’m so glad you had a great experience with it.
I am always hesitant to try new products but that ingredient list makes me want too!

    • I agree with you Heather when it comes to trying new products I tend to be very hesitant. So many companies are very clever with their branding and marketing that just about everything looks great! I first discovered Annemarie Gianni through a friend who is as health conscious as I am so it made giving it a try a lot easier. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do 🙂

  4. This product sounds wonderful. I’m really picky about what I put on my skin, and I tend to stay away from a lot of the products out there; I’m just not sure about them. The natural ingredients in this make me feel a lot differently about trying it. Very natural.

    • You sound like my kind of gal Mel 🙂 We have to be picky if we care about our health. I don’t try new products very often because there is so much out there that looks good and makes extraordinary claims but all too often they don’t live up to those claims. That’s why I love this line so much! Annmarie and her husband are both vibrantly healthy and she radiates! It’s clear they live what they teach 🙂

  5. Never heard of the product, to be honest. My husband does most of the shopping so I can’t even recall seeing it anywhere. Sounds like something we may have to check out though. Thank you!

    • Lucky lady Digna to have your hubby do most of the shopping! I’t too picky for that I’m afraid though my guy helps a lot. This line is not widely available in stores which might be why you have not seen it. The best way is to buy it online and this week you can sample many of their best sellers for F*R*E*E 🙂 http://bit.ly/1hKw6pM

  6. Jealous!! I have adult acne and it’s not too fun :/ I’ve heard aloe is amazing!

    • I’m so sorry Emily 🙁 Annmarie Gianni has some wonderful products for acne that actually heal! I’m using them for my 16 year old and they are amazing! Will probably have to do a review in the near future. Have a splendid day!

  7. I haven’t heard of this product, but I really like aloe, so I’ll look for it! Thanks!

  8. I am a huge fan of aloe. I have never seen this, i will have to keep my eye out for it.

    • Aloe does have so many wonderful healing properties! I have a couple of plants in my backyard and they are our go-to for boo-boos and the eventual sun durn 🙂 This is such an amazing product I’m sure you will love it!

  9. So nice that it’s organic and natural. There are so many products anymore with fillers and additives.

  10. As I approach 40 I am looking for better, more natural products to use on my skin. This sounds like a great line!

  11. Oh wow that is all you need! Looks like ti would last forever~!!!
