Simple Ways to FitStyle Your Life

Simple Ways to FitStyle Your Life title image

We all know that exercise is a key component of a healthy lifestyle, but for too many people, exercise is still just something you do.

And all too often it is something you do out of obligation… Something that feels like a burden.

Exercise requires time…

Exercise requires planning…

Exercise requires motivation…

But what if exercise and fitness simply became a way of life?

What if it was FUN… SIMPLE…. and easy to fit into every part of your day, from work to play?

That’s the premise of Shana Schneider’s mini book FitStyle Your Life: 5 Simple Keys for Taking Exercise off Your To-Do List

This little book is a gem filled with little nuggets that are easy to implement and will change the way you look at exercise forever.

Yes fitness can be a way of life and if can be fun!

Everything about this book is fun and simple.  It is written in a straightforward and inviting conversational tone that immediately puts you at ease. The five keys that Shana shares to effortlessly integrate fitness into every part of your life make so much sense you’ll wonder why you aren’t doing it all already.  Standing in line waiting for your daily cup of java will never be the same!

Weights, balls and workout mats will become your favorite props…

Before you know it you’ll find yourself dreaming up all sorts of fun ways to tone and strengthen every muscle in your body.

You’ll stand a little taller and smile a little broader as you realize how much love you’re giving yourself and graciously welcome all those compliments that will be flowing your way 🙂

I’m looking forward to setting up my brand new standing desk as soon as it arrives, something I’ve always dreamed about but until now they were too bulky and expensive.  I’m at my computer for a good chunk of the day and why not make that time “love-my-body” time?  Recent studies are showing that standing while you type causes less fatigue and burns far more calories than a jog in the park …  So hey, count me in!

And that’s the real beauty of this book — It’s all about making small changes to reap great rewards.

You’ll find Fitstyle Your Life in paper back or ebook format. I recommend you purchase one of each — Use the paperback version to scribble notes and actually complete the exercises suggested by Shana, and keep the ebook on your smartphone or tablet for easy access any time you need a little inspiration 🙂

I met Shana last July at the IDEA World fitness Convention.  We were both first time attendees of Blogfest, a conference for health and fitness bloggers, and had been paired up as buddies.  And what a great pair we made!

Shana Schneider and Valerie Remy-Milora

Shana is effervescent!

She is always positive and full of energy and radiates health in every way!

She is beautiful, inspiring and a ton of fun to be around!

Shana believes with all her heart that fitness should never be a burden.   Fitness should be fun and it should be easy… Easy to fit into any schedule no matter where you live, how old you are or what you do.

This young lady lives what she preaches for sure!  I caught her more than once doing calf raises while standing in line.

  1. Thanks for the article. Hopefully this will motivate me to exercise.

    • You are most welcome Terry. Exercise like so many other things, is all about finding the right fit for you and making it a habit. Getting started is the hardest part, but with a little help from a loved one you can get into a routine without too much effort and as you can see from this, you can make fitness a part of everything you do so it doesn’t even fell like a burden anymore. Good luck!
