  1. I agree. I don’t like cardio but I realise it’s necessary. Strength workouts are my favourite.

    • Balance is key Rochelle. I used to love cardio when I was younger but I favor strength training now as well. My favorite workouts are HIIT workouts that combine both cardio and strength 🙂

    As I am getting older I am starting to loathe cardio. Especially the high intensity stuff like INSANITY. I started to dread workouts when I was doing that system. I try to balance everything out, but I find myself enjoying strength training and flexibility training (like Pi-Yo) much better.

    • It sounds like you are taking good care of yourself and listening to your body Clojo. I used to dread strength training and flexibility because they were hard. But I loved cardio because it came easy. Now I know that I need balance and that all out cardio is not healthy anyways.. We need some, but not as much as most people think and we need to balance it out with everything else 🙂

    I eat mostly raw foods, get as much good quality sleep as I can and drink my 8 – 10 glasses of water each day but exercise is a problem. I still in rehab mode after a major op last year and find it so frustrating but I just have to take it really slow!
