Have you ever been White River Rafting?
In June my husband and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage!
25 years… How amazing is that?
I’d love nothing more than to whisk him away on a little white river rafting adventure… Just the two of us for a few days 🙂
Cris and I have always loved the outdoors and our girls have been raised with that same adventurous spirit.
Before we were married we enjoyed a thrilling river rafting adventure down the Kern River in California. I worked for a small boutique editorial company and my boss took everyone in the company on a fun filled rafting trip. It was a blast!
Believe it or not we haven’t been since.
With three active young ladies our days and weeks go by at dizzying speed. Cris and I rarely get away just the two of us. In fact I think the last time we took an “extended” vacation (we were gone for four days!) was to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
So…
We are due for a little adventure don’t you think?
I’ve been doing a little planning and thought a white river rafting trip down the Salt River in Arizona might just be the prefect way to celebrate our anniversary.
My younger brother just moved to Arizona a few months ago and has been sharing the most exquisite photos! I’ve been dreaming of getting away for a few days and exploring this beautiful area. It’s a little bit of paradise for fitness enthusiasts like us 😉
With all the precipitation we’ve had this winter I imagine it is going to be an amazing white rafting season!
And there really is nothing like a good old road trip… ah… I can see it already…
Music blasting with the wind in our hair…
Gorgeous scenery all around…
Sunshine kissing our skin as we speed down one wild rapid after another…

White water rafting looks like an intense sport, I’d like to try.
White water rafting is so much fun Calvin!!! It can be intense but there are trips that are more gentle and easy for the entire family to enjoy together, even little ones. Have fun!
I’ve always wanted to do this, sadly I’m unable to due to medical issues, however my stepson wants to try it so we have a trip planned for him during summer
This looks like so much fun! We used to love rafting on the rivers in Arkansas when I was younger. I’d have loved this adventure.
I love white water rafting. We have some good places here in Colorado.
Colorado has some awesome places for white river rafting Sarah! My uncle was a guide for many years in Colorado and we enjoyed a trip or two with him when I was a teen. It was amazing!
