I came up with this recipe thinking of a wonderful potato cake my French grandmother used to make for my siblings and I when we were little. It was one those comfort foods that always tasted just right. Braised Kale with Leeks

  This is a simple and delicious side dish that complements well a poached fish such as cod or salmon, a marinated chicken breast or a nice juicy steak.
